GATE 2020 application portal is open again to facilitate students from Jammu and Kashmir apply for the exam. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted for admission to M.Tech./M.E. programmes offered at technical institutes in India. The application window for GATE 2020 closed on October 5 but the link has been activated again only for students from Jammu and Kashmir.
The application window will close on November 8, 2019.
Steps to apply for GATE 2020
The candidates can check below the steps that they need to follow to apply for GATE 2020 Application Form:
- Step 1: Visit official website gate.iitd.ac.in
- Step 2: Click on GATE Registration Link available on the homepage
- Step 3: Register yourself on the website by providing Name, eMail ID, Date of Birth and Phone Number
- Step 4: Enter your Personal Details in the next page
- Step 5: Upload a scanned copy of your passport size photograph, signature and category certificate
- Step 6: Pay the requisite amount of application fee using Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card
- Step 7: Submit the Application Form and Take Printout of the confirmation page.
Candidates may please note that the online application portal is open only for candidates located in Jammu & Kashmir. The online portal GOAPS or GATE Online application processing system was re-opened yesterday – October 29, 2019. The link would remain active till November 8, 2019.
GATE 2020 Apply Online Jammu and Kashmir
In order to help aspirants complete the online application process for GATE 2020 exam, Srinagar District Administration has setup special Facilitation Centres. Reports have confirmed that Srinagar Administration has started three counters at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar to facilite filling GATE 2020 Application Forms. Application Deadline or the latest date to register for GATE 2020 exam is 24th September 2019.
All the candidates who have already applied for the examination are advised to keep a check on official website for latest updates on the examination. The GATE 2020 schedule would also be released by IIT Delhi in due course of time. GATE 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9. Admit Cards would be released on January 3, 2020.
